The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 26400SO is the 44mm steel chronograph variant
fitted with the polished black ceramic bezel, pushpiece guards, and screw-locked
crown that signaled AP’s transition from full-steel Offshore architecture toward
the mixed-material configurations that have defined the modern Offshore lineage.
The white-dial Panda configuration paired with the contrasting black ceramic bezel
created one of the most visually arresting Offshore chronographs of the early 2010s,
with the bright white Mega Tapisserie dial offsetting the deep black ceramic bezel
and the matching black ceramic crown and pusher elements. The 44mm Stainless Steel
case carries the eight hexagonal screws of the octagonal Royal Oak bezel and the
slab side profile of the Offshore generation, with the screwed-down chronograph 
pushers preserving the watch’s 100-meter water resistance. The white Mega Tapisserie
dial features applied steel hour markers, Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating,
the date aperture at 3 o’clock, and three black sub-counters that earned the watch
its Panda nickname among collectors. Powered by the AP-built Caliber 3126/3840 self-
winding chronograph with 50-hour power reserve, beating at 21,600 vibrations per
hour through 59 jewels. Sapphire crystal, black rubber strap. Pre-owned, 2012 production.
