The Rolex Lady-Datejust reference 69173 is the 26mm Yellow Rolesor expression of
the most iconic ladies’ watch in horology, produced from the late 1980s through 
approximately 1999 and representing the transition of the Lady-Datejust line into
the modern sapphire-crystal era. The 69173 introduced two key upgrades over its 
four-digit 6917 predecessor: the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal that replaced
acrylic, and the new-generation Caliber 2135 movement with quickset date functionality
that brought the Lady-Datejust in line with its larger Datejust siblings. The 26mm
Oyster case combines the durability of Oystersteel with the warmth of 18k yellow
gold on the fluted bezel, winding crown, and bracelet center links — Yellow Rolesor
in proportions tailored for smaller wrists. This example carries a white dial with
applied hour markers and slim hands, the date at three magnified by the signature
Cyclops lens. Powered by the Rolex Caliber 2135, a self-winding automatic movement
developed specifically for the Lady-Datejust line, with Superlative Chronometer 
certification. Water-resistant to 100 meters and worn on the matching Yellow Rolesor
Jubilee bracelet — the bracelet design Rolex created specifically for the 1945 Datejust
anniversary and refined over the subsequent decades. Pre-owned in excellent condition.
