The Rolex Submariner Date 116610LV — known across the collecting world simply as
the “Hulk” — is the only Submariner Rolex has ever produced with both a green dial
and a matching green bezel. Released at Baselworld 2010 as the modern successor 
to the 16610LV “Kermit” (which paired a green bezel with a black dial), the Hulk
took the bold step of carrying the green theme across the entire face of the watch.
Production ran from 2010 through 2020, when the Hulk was discontinued in favor of
the redesigned 41mm 126610LV, instantly cementing the Hulk’s status as a modern 
Rolex classic and one of the most sought-after discontinued Submariners on the secondary
market. The 40mm Oystersteel Oyster case is paired with the unidirectional rotating
green Cerachrom ceramic bezel — virtually scratchproof and color-stable in direct
sunlight. The sunburst green dial features applied 18k white gold hour markers, 
Mercedes hands with Chromalight luminescence, and the cyclops-magnified date at 
3 o’clock. Powered by the in-house Rolex Caliber 3135 self-winding chronometer movement
upgraded with the blue Parachrom hairspring — paramagnetic and resistant to temperature
shock — the Hulk beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 48-hour power reserve
and Superlative Chronometer certification. Sapphire crystal, screw-down Triplock
crown, 300 meters water resistance. Pre-owned.
