The Rolex Yacht-Master 42 reference 226659 represents one of the most quietly remarkable

on the Oysterflex elastomer-over-titanium bracelet for a weight and wearability 
nearly indistinguishable from steel. Introduced in 2019, the 226659 takes the Yacht-
Master language and pushes it into precious-metal territory while preserving the
utilitarian DNA that has defined the line since 1992. The 42mm Oyster case is monobloc
18k white gold with a screw-down Triplock crown, paired with a bidirectional rotatable
60-minute bezel featuring a matte black Cerachrom ceramic insert with polished raised
numerals and graduations. The black lacquered dial carries large Chromalight luminous
hour markers and Mercedes hands for instant low-light legibility, with the date 
at three o’clock magnified by the Cyclops lens. Powered by the in-house Rolex Caliber
3235, a Superlative Chronometer with paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, Chronergy
escapement, Paraflex shock absorbers, and approximately 70 hours of power reserve.
Water-resistant to 100 meters. The Oysterflex bracelet attaches to the case and 
18k white gold Oysterlock clasp by a titanium-and-nickel metal blade overmolded 
with high-performance elastomer, finished with the Glidelock extension system. 2020
