## What Happens at a Visit

For Buyers

Try on every piece in our current inventory under loupe. We walk through provenance,
service history, market comps, and warranty terms. No purchase pressure — most first
visits are 45–60 minutes.

For Sellers

Bring the watch and any papers. We authenticate on-site, pull live market comps,
and present a cash offer. Accepted offers are paid by wire within 24 hours of inspection.
Trade credit available against any piece in inventory.

For Consignors

We review the piece, agree on a floor price, photograph in our studio, and list 
across eBay, Chrono24, and our own site. You’re in the loop throughout. Payment 
is wired the same day the buyer’s funds clear.

For Virtual Clients

Video walkthrough of any piece you’re tracking — straps swapped, bracelet bevels
under macro, movement opened on request. Same provenance review as in-person. Common
for out-of-state clients.

How do private appointments work?

Appointments are private — no walk-in traffic, no counters. Plan for 30–60 minutes
for a first visit; longer if you’re cross-shopping multiple references or running
a sell-side appraisal.

Do I need to bring anything?

For buying or browsing: just yourself. For selling or trading: bring the watch, 
all original papers and accessories (box, warranty card, booklets, hang tag, extra
links), and a government-issued photo ID. We accept ID verification for any transaction
above $5,000.

Where exactly is the showroom and how do I get there?

Palazzo Watches & Gems is at 185 Hudson Street, Suite 2553, Jersey City, NJ 07311—
Hudson Tower, directly across from Lower Manhattan. PATH: Exchange Place station(
3-minute walk). Car: Holland Tunnel exits ~10 minutes away; garage parking validated
for appointments. Train + ferry from Midtown clock at roughly 25 minutes door-to-
door.

Can I do a virtual appointment instead?

Yes. The same booking flow handles virtual appointments — select a video-call slot
at checkout. We use Google Meet by default; for clients who prefer a different platform
we’ll send a separate link before the meeting. Virtual appointments are typical 
for first-call discovery, watch reveals for out-of-state clients, and pre-purchase
walkthroughs.

What if the calendar doesn’t show a time that works?

After-hours and weekend appointments are available for priority clients — message

a time directly. The calendar above shows standard availability only.

Can someone else attend with me?

Absolutely. Bring a partner, advisor, or watchmaker. We have no NDAs on inspections
or trade-in appraisals. The space comfortably hosts up to four guests per appointment.
