The Rolex Daytona ref. 116520 is a Cosmograph Daytona in steel, paired here with a black dial. The reference became the Daytona's steel model in 2000, built on the Rolex 4130 caliber. This 40mm case carries a tachymeter bezel in stainless steel, a sapphire crystal, and a closed caseback, with 100 meters of water resistance and a thickness of 12.4mm.

This July 2006 example shows a black dial on an Oyster bracelet in stainless steel with a folding clasp, with 20mm lugs. Inside is the automatic caliber 4130, with 44 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vph, and a 72-hour power reserve.
