Rolex Day-Date 36

Rolex introduced the Day-Date in 1956 as the first wristwatch to show the day of the week spelled out in full, in a window at 12 o’clock, with the date at 3. Made only in gold or platinum and usually worn on the President bracelet, it became known as the “President’s watch”. The 36 mm case is the original size and is still made today.
