The Avenger lineage traces to the late 1990s, when Breitling positioned it as the more militarized, oversized counterpart to the Aerospace and Chronomat collections, with the deeply scalloped uni-directional rotating bezel, the oversized luminous baton hour markers, and the broadly sized hands that make the dial readable from a distance regardless of light conditions. The 43mm stainless steel case is 12.28mm thick and weighs roughly 93 grams, with brushed and polished finishing across the bezel and case flanks, the screw-down crown sealed against 300 meters of water resistance, and the cambered glareproofed sapphire crystal across the dial.
