The Cartier Santos de Cartier Medium WSSA0063 is the current-production 35mm stainless steel automatic Santos in the celebrated blue dial configuration, paired with both an integrated steel bracelet and an additional blue alligator leather strap via the QuickSwitch interchangeable strap system. This 2025 example arrives full set with box and papers, in one of the most universally well-received Santos dial colors that Cartier has released in recent years. The modern Santos descends directly from the original 1904 aviator’s wristwatch Louis Cartier designed for Alberto Santos-Dumont, and across more than a century has preserved the square case silhouette, the exposed bezel screws, and the integrated brick-link bracelet that distinguish the model within the contemporary collecting canon. The 35.1mm steel case measures 8.83mm thick and carries the seven-sided beaded crown set with a faceted synthetic blue spinel that matches the dial’s deep sunray-blue finish, with painted Roman numerals, polished steel sword-shaped hands, and the secret “Cartier” signature integrated into the markers. Powered by the Cartier Manufacture Caliber 1847 MC self-winding movement, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 42-hour power reserve, water resistant to 100 meters.
