The Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36 reference 126000 is the modern incarnation of the most foundational Rolex configuration — the time-only Oyster Perpetual that traces its lineage directly to the 1926 patent that gave the world its first commercially successful waterproof wristwatch. Introduced in 2020 as the successor to the 116000, the 126000 brings the next-generation Caliber 3230 to the platform along with a refined dial palette that has expanded across multiple Watches & Wonders releases. The 36mm Oyster case carries a smooth domed Oystersteel bezel, sapphire crystal, and the patented Twinlock screw-down crown for water resistance to 100 meters. The dial features applied luminous indices and Mercedes hands with Chromalight fills. Powered by the in-house Rolex Caliber 3230 with paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, Chronergy escapement, Paraflex shock absorbers, and approximately 70 hours of power reserve, Superlative Chronometer certified to -2/+2 seconds per day.
