The Rolex Yacht-Master 40 reference 126622 is Rolex’s modern Rolesium statement piece, combining Oystersteel with a solid 950 platinum bezel and the upgraded Caliber 3235 platform. Introduced in 2019 as the successor to the long-running 116622, the 126622 brings the next-generation movement to one of the most distinctive material formulas in the Rolex catalog — Rolesium, a combination found nowhere else in the lineup and reserved exclusively for the Yacht-Master. The 40mm Oyster case features a bidirectional rotatable 60-minute bezel in solid 950 platinum with polished raised numerals and graduations, the contrast between the satin-finished case sides and the bright platinum reading like a quiet maritime cue. The blue lacquered Chromalight dial carries large applied Chromalight hour markers and Mercedes hands for instant low-light legibility, with the date at three magnified by the Cyclops lens.
