The Superocean itself traces to 1957, when Breitling introduced the original Superocean as a dedicated professional dive watch, and the modern Superocean 46 carries that lineage forward with an oversized, hyper-legible profile and a 2000-meter water resistance rating that places the reference among the most deeply rated production dive watches available. The 46mm Blacksteel case measures 16.8mm thick, with the screw-down crown and pushers preserving the 2000-meter water resistance and the cambered glareproofed sapphire crystal protecting the black dial. The dial features broad luminous Arabic numeral hour markers and oversized luminous hands designed for legibility at depth.
