Examined to the movement.
The Breitling Superocean 46 Blacksteel U17368 is the most distinctive expression of Breitling's contemporary 46mm Superocean, combining a DLC-coated stainless steel case in matte black with an 18k red gold uni-directional rotating dive bezel, an arrestingly purposeful color contrast that distinguishes the Blacksteel from the standard steel and all-black variants in the line. The Superocean itself traces to 1957, when Breitling introduced the original Superocean as a dedicated professional dive watch, and the modern Superocean 46 carries that lineage forward with an oversized, hyper-legible profile and a 2000-meter water resistance rating that places the reference among the most deeply rated production dive watches available. The 46mm Blacksteel case measures 16.8mm thick, with the screw-down crown and pushers preserving the 2000-meter water resistance and the cambered glareproofed sapphire crystal protecting the black dial. The dial features broad luminous Arabic numeral hour markers and oversized luminous hands designed for legibility at depth. Powered by the Breitling Caliber 17 self-winding movement, COSC chronometer certified, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour through 26 jewels with a 38-hour power reserve. Fitted to a black rubber strap with Blacksteel tang buckle. Pre-owned.
