Examined to the movement.
The IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 reference IW388101 represents the more wearable execution of the Schaffhausen manufacture's modern Pilot Chronograph collection, released in 2021 as a downsized companion to the long-running 43mm IW3777 line. The 41mm stainless steel case retains the cockpit-instrument aesthetic that has defined IWC pilot watches since the Mark XI of 1948, finished here in brushed and polished surfaces with a screw-down crown and a convex antireflective sapphire crystal. The blue dial features applied Arabic numerals, a triangular index at twelve flanked by lume dots, snowflake-tipped hands, and a bicompax chronograph layout with running seconds at nine and 30-minute counter at twelve. Day and date appear at the three o'clock position. Powered by the in-house IWC Caliber 69385, a column-wheel chronograph manufactured entirely within Schaffhausen, comprising 231 components, 33 jewels, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 46-hour power reserve. Water resistant to 100 meters, the watch is fitted on a blue calfskin strap with a stainless steel pin buckle. Reference IW388101 sits as the contemporary entry point into IWC's in-house chronograph manufacture. Pre-owned condition.
