The Reference

Examined to the movement.

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Co-Axial reference 232.30.42.21.01.001 represents the second-generation 42mm Planet Ocean introduced in 2011 with the brand's then-new in-house Caliber 8500, marking Omega's transition away from outsourced ebauches across its flagship Seamaster line. The reference was notably worn by Daniel Craig as James Bond in the 2012 film Skyfall, anchoring the watch's modern collecting profile. The 42mm stainless steel case features a black ceramic unidirectional bezel with white Liquidmetal diving scale, paired with a black lacquered dial carrying broad applied luminous indices, Omega's signature arrowhead hour hand, and a date window at three o'clock. The case construction includes a helium escape valve at ten and a screw-down crown protecting 600 meters of water resistance. Powered by the in-house Omega Caliber 8500, a self-winding Co-Axial chronometer with twin barrels mounted in series, free-sprung balance with silicon balance spring, 39 jewels, and a 60-hour power reserve at 25,200 vibrations per hour. Fitted on a brushed and polished stainless steel bracelet. The 232.30.42.21.01.001 sits alongside the orange-bezel 232.30.42.21.01.003 as the most collected Bond-associated Planet Ocean executions in the modern Omega catalog. Pre-owned condition.
