The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon 311.92.44.51.01.003 is the all-black-ceramic 44.25mm Co-Axial chronograph that opened Omega’s Dark Side of the Moon line in 2013, a piece that translated the entire Speedmaster Moonwatch silhouette into polished and brushed black zirconium oxide ceramic, including case body, bezel, dial, and crown. The Dark Side of the Moon collection was conceived as Omega’s most architecturally pure modern Speedmaster, with every visible component executed in black ceramic to produce a single-color sport chronograph that nonetheless preserves the Moonwatch case geometry. The 44.25mm black zirconium oxide ceramic case is 16.14mm thick, with the polished ceramic bezel carrying a matte chromium nitride tachymeter scale, the brushed ceramic case flanks, and the engraved “Dark Side of the Moon” legend on the caseback above the sapphire window. The black ceramic dial carries 18k white gold Moonwatch-style hands, applied 18k white gold hour markers, and two black ceramic sub-counters at 3 and 9 o’clock. Powered by the Omega Co-Axial Caliber 9300 self-winding chronograph movement with a 60-hour power reserve, COSC chronometer certified. Water resistance to 50 meters, fitted to a black coated nylon fabric strap. Pre-owned.
