The Omega Speedmaster Legend Michael Schumacher reference 3506.31.00 is the silver-dial chapter of the three-piece Schumacher Legend trilogy released in 2005 at Baselworld to commemorate the German driver's seventh and final Formula One World Championship the previous year. Produced in 6,000 limited-edition pieces, the reference represents one of the rare moments Omega placed an automatic high-frequency caliber into a full-size 42mm Speedmaster case at a time when most Speedmasters carried either the manual Caliber 1861 or the Reduced 39mm chassis. The 42mm stainless steel case carries a fixed tachymeter bezel and a sapphire crystal, framing an ivory checkerboard dial with contrasting black sub-registers at three, six, and nine o'clock for date, running seconds, and chronograph functions, the racing-flag motif tying the dial to Schumacher's career. Powered by the Omega Caliber 3301, an automatic self-winding chronograph with column-wheel control and 33 jewels, delivering an approximately 55-hour power reserve. Water resistant to 100 meters, fitted on a five-link stainless steel bracelet with deployant clasp. The 3506.31.00 sits alongside the red 3506.61.00 and blue 3506.21.00 as the trio that closed out Omega's mid-2000s Schumacher Legend program. Pre-owned condition.
