Examined to the movement.
The Tudor Black Bay Bronze reference 79250BM introduced bronze case construction to the Black Bay collection when launched at Baselworld 2016, marking Tudor's entry into the patina-forward bronze diver category that brands like Panerai and Oris had been developing through the prior decade. The reference is built around a 43mm bronze case, an aluminum-bronze alloy chosen for its corrosion resistance and the rich brown patina it develops with wear, paired with a PVD-treated steel caseback that protects the wearer's skin from bronze oxidation. The domed brown dial features applied luminous markers, gilt accents, and the brand's signature snowflake hour hand, the warm tones complementing the case material as both age. The unidirectional rotatable bezel carries a matte brown anodized aluminum insert with a 60-minute diving scale. Powered by the Tudor Manufacture Caliber MT5601, a COSC-certified self-winding movement with bidirectional rotor, silicon balance spring, and a 70-hour power reserve at 28,800 vibrations per hour. Water resistant to 200 meters, fitted on a brown aged leather strap with bronze buckle. The 79250BM bronze sits alongside the later 79250BA slate-grey variant as a foundational entry in Tudor's bronze-diver story. 2018 production, pre-owned with full Tudor box and papers.
