The Oris ProPilot X Kermit Edition reference 01 400 7778 7157 represents one of the most playful and technically ambitious collaborations in modern Swiss watchmaking — a 39mm integrated-bracelet titanium pilot watch built around Oris’s flagship in-house Calibre 400 movement and finished with a vivid green dial featuring a Kermit the Frog date aperture that surfaces on the first of each month. Released in 2022 in partnership with Disney, the Kermit Edition takes the angular ProPilot X case architecture, with alternating brushed and sand-blasted titanium surfaces and a fully integrated multi-link titanium bracelet, and pairs it with a dial that openly references the Muppet character without losing the watch’s serious horological credentials. The bright green dial carries contrasting white baton indices and silver-tone hands, while the domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating frames the composition cleanly. At the heart sits Oris’s in-house Calibre 400 — a self-winding mechanical movement with a five-day power reserve, 28,800 vibrations per hour, silicon escape wheel and anchor, and a high level of anti-magnetism. The case is water-resistant to 100 meters, and the open caseback reveals the calibre through engraved sapphire. A 2024 example, sold complete with original Oris box and papers.
