The 40mm stainless steel Oyster case is immediately recognizable: broad crown guards flank a screw-down Triplock crown, and the solid caseback shows crisp brushed and polished finishing with no signs of wear. The unidirectional rotating bezel carries a vivid green Cerachrom ceramic insert, scratch-resistant and UV-stable, with platinum-filled pip and numerals. Beneath it sits a matte black dial populated by round and rectangular luminous hour markers, a Mercedes-style seconds hand, and the Cyclops-magnified date window at three o'clock. The dial is signed "Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date" above center and "Submariner 1000ft = 300m Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified" below — the last line confirming both the depth rating printed on the dial and the COSC-exceeding Superlative Chronometer standard Rolex applies in-house. The automatic movement drives time and date. At 40mm the case wears with the classic Submariner proportion, and the three-link Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock folding clasp — visible and fully intact in the photos — completes the package. Condition is excellent throughout; case and bracelet surfaces retain their factory finishing.
